This team works on recruiting speakers for
events and brainstorming ideas for topics and speakers in the future. There is special attention paid to staying on top of
the trends in the industry when deciding the focus of these events. This committee works closely with the luncheon venue and
their staff assuring a smooth and seamless event. Target audiences for specific luncheons are taken into account and there
are some marketing details to disseminating information on upcoming events.

This committee focuses on developing new ideas dedicated
to enhancing our website for prospective members, as well as for existing ones. The website committee listens to the needs
of our audience, whether it be improving the online interface, or adding value to existing membership benefits. New ideas
and improvements are researched, and changes are made to the site.

Ball Committee

The Summer Ball Committee is involved in almost all aspects
of planning the popular event. Decisions on sponsorships and revenue are decided in this team, as well decisions on food,
music, centerpieces, and decorations. This committee decides which charity raffle money will be donated to, contacts potential
sponsors, and pools together some of the most creativity needed in the case of our themed events. Opinions are sought on advertisements
on the event, as well as those invited to attend.

Marketing Summit
Chairperson: Marty Shapiro
The Global Marketing Summit is one of the largest and most
popular events of the year, demanding year long planning on potential senior level speakers, highly sought after sponsorships,
and venue possibilities. Those on this committee may go on site visits to approve locations. There is discussion on competing
sponsors, flow of the all-day event, and planning on how to create the best comfort and convenience for a very large crowd.
This committee reaches out to community in terms of developing ideas for popular topics and speakers.

Ball Committee

The Winter Ball Committee is involved in almost all aspects
of planning the popular event. Decisions on sponsorships and revenue are decided in this team, as well decisions on food,

This committee specializes in the recruitment of up and
coming professionals in the communication industry. This team involves trying to meet the needs of today’s under thirty
crowd interested in networking and career advancement. This committee works to brainstorm programs and cocktail parties with
a focus on education or networking, which is of interest to this sect of the IAA. Most new YP are very open to career guidance,
and this team helps develop paths for them.

Workshop Committee
This committee focuses on smaller morning events, usually
involving a series of seminars on a specific topic. Many senior level executives prefer to attend events in the early morning.
This team is involved in the planning of these workshops, specifically the speakers, location booking, invitees, and topics.

Chairperson: Alex Clemente/ Chris Theodoros
The Membership Committee is the backbone of the IAA. Work
is devoted to recruiting new members and maintaining a balance of those involved in the IAA. There is a strong focus on the
value of membership, and how to constantly increase that. There are survey reports and attention paid to the needs of those
interested in the IAA, and there is attention to trends in the industry on a local scale, as well as a global one. The membership
committee works on the reputation of the IAA, as well as how we can continue to most effectively generate awareness of our
programs and events.
